The name Anastasia translates from Greek as a Phoenix. We fell in love with it from the very beginning! Because everytning that Anastasia represents reflects Phoenix symbolism. It's is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.
